http://www.gamemilitia.com/forums/index.php?refer=xenokitten

This website is basically an online forum/php site similar in some ways to gaia... you chat, play games, earn points, participate in events, contests, etc. But then those points can be traded in to earn REAL videogame prizes. hot new releases, consoles, dvds, action figures, etc.

Very addictive site. Take a look.

From the site itself:

"Game Militia

Seeing that you have now recently just joined up or are thinking about joining it is important that you know what we are and what kind of community we have going on here. People from GM here are more like a family, we share events with one another. Some of us even check up on one another when something happens, just as when the Hurricane Charley came through. Yes, we all do care about the games but spamming as some do here gets you nowhere except banned. Many people have experienced being banned and its not the most pleasant. Knowing you had it all but lost it because of some of your actions. For the most part it is a community made up of mature gamers; both guys and gals.

Lets take a look at what we got going on here. There are many things to do while you have some free time. Since this is a forum you can talk through posts. But there are even more ways to get points and have fun. Here’s a guide though to help you navigate throughout this post faster. You can search by this hitting [CTRL] + F. This will allow you to search through the page.

F1: Missions
F2: Prizes
F3: Forum
F4: Games
F5: Platoons
F6: Other Cool Stuff

F1: Missions

This is an important part and an easy way to get points. Most of the missions are something simple as making a slogan or a console skin. Some missions do require you have something such as a graphics program or a digital camera. The points value can range to 500-2000. The lower value prizes mainly being the training missions. Lets look at a difference between the two.
Training Missions- A new one arises every other week and the prize range is normaly lower.
Official Missions- A new one can come at any time, normally not as often as a training will come. The prize is big though. These missions are normally sponsored by somewhere such as Spike Tv.

F2: Prizes

Game Militia offers a large supply of prizes. They have for all the hottest consoles and they have there own gear with the Game Militia name on it. Most of the games have recently come out. And they have a very large selection. The supply for each game depends pending on how high the popularity level may be. So its first come first serve. You must buy the jewels required and have them before the trade day. The trade day is the 7th of EVERY month. The supply of jewels is also limited. And every time the are out of stock and need to be restocked the prices will range maybe 20-40% pending on how much inflation has occurred over the month.

F3: Forum

Well isn’t GM cool enough already. The free video games, consoles, and gear. What else can they give you. They can give you a lot more and they do. From gaining more points to chatting.

You can give them your link by clicking on “Draft” You will see your link and then give your buddies it through AIM, posting a flyer at school, etc. There are many ways be creative. Get it around and in no time you could have lots of points.
Points Per Referral: 75

Lotto:
Everybody knows what a Lotto is im assuming. Well we have one here also. Its not to encourage gambling but for the pure pleasure of us members. Paying 60 points and having a chance to win over 1k or more. I think thats something postive to look for when you get home from school and it was supposed to end that day. Circulation of points throughout a forum is very important and is necessary for a forum such as this to stay alive.

Trading Shop:
This is where you can trade your video games to one another for cash or other forms of money. You must follow the rules but it is nice to get rid of some stuff you no longer need to gain a few extra bucks. “Ones man junk can be another mans treasure.” GM is not responsible for members wrong doings.

Tournaments:
For arcade games. Occur very often. Quick points if you know what you are doing. Games do require practice though.

Contests:
Yes, as I said before it can get better. Know you can get an instant giveway or enter a contest just by telling about your school days. Very nice when you can get the latest games, by sharing your day with another. Contest dates and information can be found in the appropriate forum.

Gambling:
Gambling is not allowed on the site unless approved. You can gamble with one another on Yahoo Games for points. Only gamble with those you trust.

Live Chat:
Our live chat allows members to talk to one another and get help or talk about various things. A great way to show activeness in these forums. Don’t spam just take a chance to get to know one another by chatting."
